Church of Elohim

My Testimony

Originally, I was raised Protestant, and took the Bible very literally. Then, sometime around late 2024 or early 2025, I completely lost my faith and considered myself an atheist. There were several times where I felt extremely sad, as if my life had no meaning.

Then, I heard a secular song that contained Christian elements (like references to Lucifer and Saint Peter). That song got me interested in the Bible again, so I started reading some of the more well-known Bible stories like the parable of the sower.

Gradually, over the next few months, the Bible stories began to really touch me, and I found myself believing in God once again. This was the beginning of my journey to find the truth.

When I was an atheist, I learned not to believe things blindly without substantial evidence. This lesson stayed with me after converting back to Christianity. I started to watch Bible scholars on YouTube and lurk subreddits like r/AcademicBiblical and r/AskBibleScholars. In my research, I made the sad discovery that the modern Christian church significantly deviates from what the Bible actually says, and believes in a lot of pseudohistory and pseudoscience. A lot of Bible translations are either inaccurate, have a bad textual basis, or both. Many people have heard the truth, but few actually believe it. So, I have decided to dedicate my life to evangelizing and trying to restore the one true religion.

Glory to the gods!
